BlackBoard 9 - Media in Tests

Enable Media in Feedback and Answers

Go to the Test Canvas page
- Follow the directions to Create a New Test OR
- If editing a previously made test, open the Context Menu and click Edit
Click Question Settings
Select Add images, files, and web links to individual feedback AND Add images, files, and web links to answers
Click Submit

Inserting Media into Question Part of Test

First enable media on the test
- See above
Click Create a Question
Select Question Type
Fill in name and other necessary information
To add a picture:
- Go to the Question section
- Click the image icon in the tool box
- Browse images on the computer or on BBLearn courses
- Upload it or Select it
- Click Submit
To insert audio:
- Go to the Question section
- Click the attachment icon in the tool box
- Browse for audio files on your computer or on BBLearn courses. Upload it or Select it
- Click Submit

Inserting Media into Answer Part of Test

First enable media on the test
- See above
Go to the answer you wish to add an image or audio to
Click Choose File button below the Answer's text box
Select the media
- If you are using an image, then next to Special Action select either Create a link to this media file OR Display image within the page
- If you are using audio, then next to Special Action, select Create a link to this media file
Click Submit
